DONOR SPOTLIGHT

grace dajo

Grace Dajo is the owner of a Man’s Zone Barbershop, which has two locations in Barrie’s north and south communities. Grace has been an avid supporter of New Path Foundation since 2011, when she was asked to volunteer her time at a local barbeque event. It was through this participation that she learned all about New Path Foundation’s Helpthe1in5 fund, which supports child and youth mental health services through New Path Youth and Family Services. Grace learned that 1 in 5 children and youth, in any given year, will be faced with a mental health challenge and she knew she wanted to help.

“Ever since I began my own business, I have wanted to give back and make a difference in the lives of people in this amazing, supportive community. But I wanted to make sure that I got involved with a Foundation that supports our local youth specifically with mental health. Everyone has been touched by mental health challenges. Once I became involved with New Path I learned about their Helpthe1in5 fund and how they support our local children and youth. This is my community and I want to make a difference in the lives of people living here. When I learned about the high quality, accessible and timely child and youth mental health services that New Path provides I became an instant supporter."
